We are looking for a Print Flow Coordinator to join our Smartpress team located in Duncan, South Carolina. You’ll be part of a talented group that collaborates to deliver world-class products to our customers. In this role, you will correctly sequence jobs to allow production teams an optimal path to execute the work for on time delivery. You will work in tandem with other PFCs supporting multiple sites and help balance work volume across the entire organization and will also work closely with operations, sales, and customer service on status and act as the main point of communication. You will monitor all production jobs and communicate on a regular basis with production management to make sure schedules are being met and to make adjustments as needed while communicating changes, delays, and problem jobs with customer service, manufacturing, and shipping.
Shifts available: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
A variety of these traits will help land you this job if you have:
an Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required
2-5 years print production experience preferred
familiarity with digital presses
must be familiar with post-production departments
On top of that you must:
possess a thorough and organized approach to your work
pay close attention to details on every project
have basic computer skills, including Pace and Google Suite
be self-motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative to seek out customer and corporate needs
plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your work

In this position you'll:
gather information and produce print batches that guarantee on time delivery to subsequent departments.
evaluate the capacity of Small Format presses and load balances work accordingly.
identify job ticket issues and either correct them, or inform the CSR or Project Manager so they can correct.
effectively communicates across various departments to ensure successful delivery times.
attend pre-production meetings and offer advice and assistance for ease of ticket entry.
evaluate job tickets and watches for device specific notes pertaining to color or construction.
evaluate job specs and offer suggestions for increased production speeds.
strategize with Press and Bindery Production Managers, Supervisors, and Leads to guarantee on time delivery.
effectively interact with various departments and individuals to obtain and circulate required information.
manage multiple jobs and priorities effectively to make appropriate decisions that support jobs being completed in a timely manner.
be able to show flexibility as operational changes occur.
perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management.
