FP&A Manager

SC&H's Accounting Solutions practice continues to expand our capabilities and we are focusing on identifying our next great hire as a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). The Manager of FP&A will collaborate with clients to build and/or enhance their annual planning and forecasting cycles, build upon current management reporting and monthly financial analysis of operations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with Accounting Solutions clients in the development, preparation and management of the planning, forecasting, and analysis of Financial and Operational budgets.
Recommend appropriate KPI’s for client's operating businesses.
Help build and enhance budget and forecast cycles including targets, guidance, development of supporting models, and collaborating with clients to develop appropriate assumptions.
Assist in the development and enhancement of clients financial planning and analysis systems.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or other business-related degree is required.
MBA, equivalent graduate degree, or advanced financial certification highly preferred.

Experience:

5 plus years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting and/or accounting.
Strong financial acumen with excellent working knowledge of Excel and experience building out financial models.
Demonstrated proficiency with concepts, practices, and procedures of financial planning & analysis, data analytics and automation of manual processes | reporting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Competencies:

Excellent financial modeling experience required, with solid sensitivity, and risk-modeling experience.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions and deadlines.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of the staff and management both as a self-starter and in a team environment.
