SUMMARY
As a Senior Integrated Planner, you will define and help shape the strategic, cross-channel communications/media plan for your client(s). You will work closely with the Channel Activation teams and Account teams to plan for solutions that achieve client’s business goals and objectives, supporting recommendations with research across the media/communications industry, your client’s category/competition, and key target audiences. Throughout the campaign, you will recommend cross-channel optimizations to improve KPI performance.
KEY OUTCOMES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Outcome: Articulation of strategic, insightful communications approach and media strategy to deliver on client goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and build actionable insights based on the understanding of audiences’ journey, attitudes, past campaign efforts, and deep media industry knowledge
- Present recommendations across core capabilities to the client, with clear rationale
- Lead briefing of channel specialist team(s) on strategic objectives to guide execution
- Participate in client calls and proactively ask and/or address questions that will move campaigns forward
Key Outcome: Continued elevation of campaign performance insights and optimizations tied to business outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor performance of campaigns, engaging channel activation team in opportunities to improve performance against client metrics and KPIs
- Build actionable insights & recommend cross-channel campaign optimizations, supporting decisions with clear rationale
- Participate in campaign performance discussions with Account, Client, and Partner Agency team(s)

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic work that meets client objectives
- Understand cross-functional workflow processes & coordinate with teams to progress project
- Autonomously make decisions to progress projects forward in a manner that meets client expectations and Agency quality standards

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent, confident point of view across day-to-day Planning deliverables
- Accountable to maintaining evergreen knowledge of landscape evolution, translating “where the communications/media industry is going” to how that impacts client strategy and tactical pull-through
Other Responsibilities:
- Ask discovery questions to deepen understanding of client and business challenges, marketplace opportunities, and audience research – proactively translating into actionable marketing solutions
- Identify cross-functional barriers and apply critical thinking skills to recommend solutions to Supervisor/Manager
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Communication, Media, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in Integrated Planning or another strategic facing role in marketing, advertising, media, and communications
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and advanced beginner experience leveraging syndicated research tools (e.g., competitive intel, audience insights, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail
- Strong client presentation skills
- Intermediate use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in an agency setting
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, working with and delegating to other teams, as required
- Knowledge and past experience using Microsoft PowerBI, project management software, and media buying/planning software

COMPENSATION
Butler/Till is committed to providing pay transparency of our compensation philosophy and ensuring equitable pay practices for our employee owners. The compensation range for this position is $55,000 - $77,000 and represents the annual salary range in Rochester, NY. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
This is just one component of Butler/Till’s total compensation package for employee owners. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including ESOP (employee stock ownership plan), an annual bonus, in addition to a full benefits package, and paid time off benefits, including 100% paid parental leave. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
