About being our Marketing Pursuit Manager
As a Marketing Pursuit Manager at Psomas, you'll be responsible for managing a host of Business Development, Marketing Pursuit and Proposal activities. You'll be responsible for working with Team Leaders and Project Managers to strategize for creative, persuasive proposals and presentations; coordinating and leading business development efforts including client research and tracking upcoming opportunities; developing client capture plans; internal strategy meetings; teaming arrangements; attending pre-proposal, proposal and presentation strategy meetings; association participation; and tradeshow strategy and management. You will also be responsible for mentoring Project Mangers and assisting the Riverside office in their business development needs.
This position is fully supported by Corporate Marketing which provides company-wide assistance including, but not limited to, proposal preparation, public relations, article writing, website maintenance, and graphics support.
Responsibility Highlights for our Marketing Pursuit Manager
- Provide client development leadership including tracking and reporting of key marketing information, facilitating strategy meetings, managing key client relationships, professional organization membership and networking
- Collaborate with teams to develop client development plans
- Assist managers and others in strategic decision making (markets, sectors, go/no-go, identifying win strategy) and with incorporating effective messaging into pursuit materials
- Perform Client Service Reviews with Psomas clients to measure client satisfaction
- Oversee the process of reporting client development results, including client and project pursuits, RFPs, proposals, key wins and losses, industry activities and other general marketing responsibilities
- Attend professional organization, government, and technical meetings/events as a representative of Psomas and coordinate/participate in meetings and events on a regular basis
- Maintain Riverside pursuits, team resumes, and project information database in Unanet
- Manage the proposal process while working with pool of coordinators to deliver winning proposals and presentations
Minimum Qualifications to be our Marketing Pursuit Manager
- 7 years of marketing experience in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC) industry including a proven track record creating, managing, and clearly articulating proposal and presentation production schedules
- Strong project management skills: proven ability to stay organized while managing multiple and competing projects and deadlines, ability to manage workflow throughout the proposal process and proactively interface with Project Managers to meet critical deadlines
- Demonstrated experience as a self-starter
- Effective communication and top-notch people skills
- Strong writing skills, editing proficiency, and experience with InDesign
Preferred Qualifications for our Marketing Pursuit Manager
- Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field

- A competitive salary! The expected range for this position is $85,000 - $120,000/salary depending on experience
Compensation may be adjusted for well qualified candidates
