Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee owned company supporting multiple technology development efforts, is searching for a talented A.I. Research Scientist/Engineer to join our Advanced Technology Development Operation. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent technical skills drawing from a number of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Mathematics technical skillsets to support research and development tasks in support of cross operation initiatives that will keep Radiance at the forefront of the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence market. The work will include collaboration with scientists, engineers and technicians to lead simulations, ML Neural Network development, deep learning, testing and analysis of test results and write and present test summary reports and scientific reports.

Radiance is looking for a dynamic researcher with the ability to get up to speed on our ongoing Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Research areas with direct application to our important DoD contractual efforts. These efforts include target detection and tracking; sensor data improvement; natural language processing; embedded systems; data structures and analysis of algorithms; increasing computational efficiency; security practices and information assurance; automated system exploitation research, and mathematical applications to networks. Specifically, the hired candidate will be pursuing projects applying machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to the above application areas.

Responsibilities will include collaborative support of cross-company efforts in AI/ML, effective communication, and presentation of results and progress in relevant areas of concern. Experience working with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras or similar, will be a significant plus. The ideal candidate will possess a doctoral degree, or be currently enrolled in a doctoral program, in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related area. The hired candidate also ideally has a record of research accomplishments in ML/AI either through published research or research PI experience. The candidate must be capable of independent research and development. Exposure to Python, web languages, Java, and C++ is desired.

Required Skills:

· Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.

· Minimum GPA of 3.2

· US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance

· 3-5 years’ experience in ML/AI research

· Demonstrated technical writing ability

· Knowledge of statistics

· Strong programming background

Desired Qualifications:

· Possesses or Pursuing doctoral degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.

· GPA of 3.7

· Knowledge of graph theory

· Knowledge of algorithms analysis / computing theory

· Knowledge of cryptanalysis/cryptography

· Experience with numerical/computational methods

· Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras or similar

· Experience with Natural Language Processing

· Experience with Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java and C++ software languages.

· Self-motivated yet able to work well within a development team
