DSG is seeking an
Electrical Regional Quotations Manager for our
North Dakota region. As a Regional Quotations Manager, you will oversee and provide support to the Quotations Specialist and Project Management teams for the region, while supporting the overall execution and implementation of strategic initiatives that continue to drive growth in our market.

A Typical Day in the Life of an Electrical Regional Quotations Manager:
- Continually investigate and introduce process improvement measures, while making decisions about enhancing value, service, effectiveness, and profitability.
- Assists with the development of regional quotations and project management policies and practices.
- Coordinate technical training for their teams
- Assess and assist in growing high-performing regional quotations and project management teams to achieve growth and meet market needs.
- Strategic planning and execution of initiatives to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the region’s quotations and project management operations.
- Review bid reports, solicit sales team feedback, and elicit direct customer feedback to determine quotation opportunities.
- Work with team to troubleshoot issues with jobs as they come up
- Foster a people-centric culture that promotes ethical practices, customer focus, and service while driving individual accountability and integrity.
- Manage employee performance by establishing clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against goals, ensuring timely feedback, and addressing performance challenges in a prompt and professional manner.
- Leads the continuous improvement of the customer experience through programs and initiatives to reduce errors, provide on-time delivery, and exceed customer quality expectations.
- Contact and negotiate with vendors for special terms and pricing for supplies and materials regarding quoted projects.
- Follow up with sales and quoted customers to determine awarded project contractor to secure the sale of the project.
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of submittals for approval.
- Address all customer complaints and/or inquiries promptly to ensure equitable resolutions to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Develop estimates of material quantities and provides price quotations on industrial, commercial and construction projects in a timely and professionally presented manner.
- Obtain and select open bid reports and sales feedback to determine quotation opportunities.
- Provide technical support to associates and customers.
A Successful Electrical Regional Quotations Manager Typically Has:
- 3-5 years of experience providing project management leadership in a distribution company.
- Must have strong technical knowledge and/or field experience, with the ability to provide reports and analysis of financial and operational position to forecast, develop and implement strategic plans within the context of the larger picture.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of management, financial analysis, project management, and personnel management.
- Skilled in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating a wide variety of activities; developing, implementing, and communicating policies and procedures for a large organization; analyzing data, making sound recommendations, and adopting effective causes of action, working tactfully with all levels of the organization.
- Previous accountability for departmental/company P&L with demonstrated experience in profitability management.
- Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
- Adaptable and able to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving work environment while also driving toward clarity and solutions.
