Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, is excited to offer an opportunity for a Part-Time Temporary Panel Shop Technician. If you have mechanical or electrical knowledge and a passion for hands-on work, this role is perfect for you! As a Panel Shop Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting with control panel assembly, contributing to our mission of delivering top-notch automation solutions

Panel Shop Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Read electrical schematic, sub-panel layout drawings, other instructions and identify parts to assemble and test electrical panels
Perform the hands-on physical tasks involved in panel assembly
Complete point to point wiring and install a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical components
Construct, maintain, and test equipment and components

Requirements

Panel Shop Technician Education and/or Experience:

Currently pursuing an associate’s degree in an electrical or instrument related field required
Previous mechanical or electrical experience
Open to part time, temporary work

Panel Shop Technician Additional Requirements:

Ability to learn and apply hand and power tools
Ability to follow safety procedures
Strong attention to detail and conscientious nature
Ability to maintain positive work relationships with co-workers

Panel Shop Technician Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 30lbs
Ability to work with up to 120 VAC
Ability to stand, stoop, reach and bend
Ability of hands to grasp and manipulate small objects

Panel Shop Technician Pay:

Hourly Rate: $18.50 - $19.50

Panel Shop Technician Schedule:

Flexible hours
Part-time temporary work
