Job Skills / Requirements
The Site Supervisor position manages night janitorial staff that facilitate the maximization of resources to achieve customer satisfaction, productivity, schedule adherence and economic goals.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Oversee night shift operations for designated customer sites.
- Provides daily night shift reports to day shift and management.
- Monitor daily work hours to remain within budgetary guidelines.
- Establish and maintain open lines of communication with Employees.
- Ensure proper usage of supplies and equipment through the training and development of employees.
- Communicates staffing changes to Manager.
- Conduct building inspections on a routine basis, frequent walk through
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Assist with interviewing and hiring.
- Assist with payroll/ timecards as needed.
- Submit employee change orders timely.
- Report any issues, concerns, or discrepancies to Manager.
- Find and define problems, resolve cleaning issues, and use these in making appropriate recommendations to management staff, employees to exercise continuous quality improvement and to exceed customer expectations.
- Order and deliver supplies.
- Identify tag opportunities.
- Assist cleaning staff in duties when necessary.
- Review safety-training topics with employees.
- Manage inventory of cleaning equipment and notify Manager of repairs needed.
- Adhere to company guidelines for employee relations, employee discipline and termination procedures.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Requirements

- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with administrative duties such as reporting and payroll. Must have floor care experience.
- Must have previous experience supervising/managing a team.

Other Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must provide authorization to work and successfully pass E-Verify.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
Technology Proficiency
Candidates in supervisory and leadership roles must be comfortable using computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and various technology systems, including reporting and ticketing systems. Leaders are expected to be able to enter data, submit thorough reports, and adapt to new systems as needed. Familiarity with current tools is essential, along with the ability to quickly learn new technologies to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency in business operations.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment, or medical buildings, and/or other industry buildings, depending on accounts. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This job regularly walks job sites.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises all the night janitorial staff and is responsible for leadership and performance management with the discretion of the Operations Manager and Regional Portfolio Director.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected hours of work
Work Schedule: 6pm-2:30am (Monday-Friday)

Additional Information / Benefits
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 Annual - Depending on Experience
