HR and Employee Engagement Intern

The HR/Employee Engagement intern will help the HR team with full-cycle recruiting, employee retention and engagement, training, data entry, company events, and special projects.

The shift for this position is flexible but will be during regular business hours. We prefer our interns to be able to work 20+ hours per week. This position will be in-office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties as assigned

1. Assist with sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and tracking applicants.

2. Assist Driver Services in resolving driver issues and requests as needed.

3. Working in and filing personnel files when needed. Confidentiality is a must.

4. Prepare Orientation and Training Packets.

5. Data entry with projects when needed.

6. Driver outreach calls.

Education and/or Experience: Interested in pursuing a degree in human resources or related field. Customer service, sales, telemarketing experience or training is beneficial.

English/Spanish bilingual is preferred.

Special Training: Computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is beneficial.

Special Skills: Communication and organizational skills, an attention to detail, and the ability to multitask is required. Needs engaging outgoing personality and able to work and perform as a team player.
