About being our Sr. Administrative Assistant

As our Sr. Administrative Assistant, you will join the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) project team of 40+ planners, architects, engineers, and other technical professionals to plan & design their next wave of capital investments, including airfield improvements, terminal improvements, infrastructure improvements, and more.

Responsibility Highlights for our Sr. Administrative Assistant

As our Sr. Administrative Assistant, you will prepare correspondence, maintain calendars, set up and coordinate meetings, take meeting minutes, copy and scan documents, log information, track documents, handle phone calls, greet and assist visitors. Additional duties include support of projects in regard to document control, project controls, financial processes, creating reports and power point presentations.

Coordinate Inspector meeting & with contractor & stakeholder including organizing weekly safety meetings
Act as the liaison between Inspector and Project management/Document control
Maintain and organize filing system from pre-construction to project close-out
Ensure that inspector issued documents and maintained and in compliance with the contract documents and LAWA requirements
File and review RFI'S, Submittal and knowledge of Plan Reading
May be called upon to take meeting minute notes in meetings

Minimum Qualifications to be our Sr. Administrative Assistant

Bachelor's degree
10+ years' experience as an administrative assistant
Strong organizational and planning skills
Knowledge of VEO (Inspection/Document control program)
Knowledge of Prolog (Inspection/Document control program)
Proficient in Microsoft Office and management software (ability to create logs, charts, etc.)
Available to work modified schedule and overtime, as construction activities require

A competitive salary! The expected range for this position is $27.00 - $33.33/hour depending on experience.
