This position is located in Ontario, California. The position requires 3 days in the office and the ability to work from home Mondays and Fridays.

Summary

We’re seeking a results-oriented, people focused, professional with experience maintaining accurate accounts payable records and accurately processing accounts payable transactions to join our team. The Accounts PayableCoordinator will help to manage the standard AP invoices for office supplies, rent, insurance, etc. The duties include, but are not limited to payment request analysis, ensure accuracy of invoices, voucher input and processing, account research and resolution, audit of employee reimbursements and direct bill payments. Organize, update, and retain invoice information files. All other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

Daily processing of AP invoices within Deltek Vision, 2-way match, and process payment request
Process employee expense reimbursements and credit card reconciliations
Ensure all invoices have proper support and management approvals. Reject invoices that are not in accordance to agreed upon format
Code invoices to correct Project, Phase,Task and GL accounts
Research and resolve any payable discrepancies and address vendor inquiries
Maintain Trade AP agings
Assist with month end close
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and GAAP
Assist or perform schedule processing of payments to trade vendors, ensuring they are paid within terms and disbursements relate to authorized expenditures
Communicate with both internal and external clients and vendors
Miscellaneous projects as required

Position Requirements

Minimum 3 years of full cycle accounts payable experience
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and have an analytical and problem-solving mindset
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organization, prioritization, and documentation skills
Experience working with large ERP systems and architectural and/or engineering firms highly desired

The salary range for this position is $19.34 - $26.31

The actual offered salary for this position will vary depending on multiple factors including the candidate’s qualification, education, position knowledge, work experience, skills, ability, work location, and internal incumbent compensation for similar roles. We do not anticipate individuals hired into this position will start at or near the top half of the range listed; the decision will be based on each individual case. The salary range listed above does not include other compensation elements such as discretionary bonus opportunities, employee stock ownership grants, paid time off, medical insurance, and other wage and benefit opportunities.
