About The Job
The Employee Engagement Coordinator supports a wide range of employee engagement initiatives. This role has a direct impact on employees and their daily experience and engagement at Tech Etch. The EEC will interact directly with new and current employees across the business in all locations and is an active and integral participant in fostering team culture and community. This role holds responsibility for orientation and onboarding program maintenance and execution, as well as frequent collaboration with the Talent Management team throughout the employee life cycle. This person lives the Tech Etch values, serves as a role model, and acts as a liaison for employees to engage with the Department of Learning and Employee Engagement and across the organization. Essential Functions

Orientation and Onboarding
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to process newly recruited employees
- Inform and coordinate necessary staff of upcoming new hire orientation events
- Conduct orientation of new hires
- Complete all new hire paperwork and process into HRIS
- Process I-9 documentation, background checks and ITAR per regulations and file appropriately in compliance with time requirements
- Run reports to audit completion of necessary paperwork
- Collaborate with Onboarding Professionals Program for orientations as well as track 90 day milestone dates and help with milestone events
Culture and Employee Engagement
- Assist with employee engagement related projects, tasks, reports and information as required.
- Conduct stay and exit interviews
- Gather employee feedback through engagement and satisfaction surveys
- Maintenance and internal marketing/education of EAP to employees
- Assist with employee recognition tasks and events, as well as company events to a high level of quality
- Act as an employee liaison to direct questions to appropriate staff members
- Maintain a company event calendar
Communication and Collaboration
- Assist with communication to employees via bulletin boards, internal boards and TE Connect, and emails
- Collaborate with the Benefits Specialist to assist with employee activities such as but not limited to open enrollment, wellness initiatives, EAP
- Assist Director of L&EE with a variety of departmental activities, tasks and events
- Collaborate with Director of Talent Management and the TM team where needed
- Collaborate with ESOP committee on EOO activities where appropriate
- Collaborate with Director of Marketing
Data Gathering and Analysis
- Collect and analyze data related to stay and exit interviews, engagement surveys, orientation-related data, and other relevant information on a regular basis
- Assist benefits specialist and Director of Finance on 401K and insurance audits
- Create and maintain inventory lists of departmental items for cultural events and activities
Job Requirements
- 1 year experience with HR software, HRIS, ATS and/or or payroll databases preferred
- Strong attention to detail required
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (word, excel, powerpoint)
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
- Strong phone, email, Written and in-person communication skills
- Strong ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Provide excellent customer service; respectful and timely completion of requests and associated tasks.
