As an intern for the IT department, you will be exposed to various disciplines within IT such as Support Services, Cybersecurity and Cloud/Networking technologies. Some of the areas of responsibility will include:

Responsibilities

Installing and configuring hardware, software, and peripheral for end users
Assist the Helpdesk Support team with Tier 1 issues for end user technical support
Utilize a helpdesk ticketing system for tracking issues
Setting up iPhones and iPads for end users
Creating new user accounts in Microsoft Entra
Configure internet hot spots for job sites
Learn how to utilize cutting edge security tools for Cybersecurity monitoring
Develop forms using Microsoft Forms and learn how to use PowerAutomate
Perform other IT related tasks if needed

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree, technical training or equivalent combination of education/experience
Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office
Ability to be organized, solve problems and prioritize tasks
Self-motivated and driven to learn new skills
Excellent customer service

Working Conditions

The IT Intern’s work is primarily performed indoors at Brinkmann’s corporate office
This role requires regular office hours, with potential for extended hours during reporting cycles
Light physical effort is required, including the handling of objects up to 10 pounds and some
Standing, walking, sitting, talking and/or hearing
