Epsilon Systems Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Full-Time Facility Security Officer I (FSO I), in San Diego, CA.

We are looking for a Facility Security Officer I for our San Diego, CA office. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the security operations of the facility. They develop and implement security policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, they collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to address security concerns and maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors. to develop, implement, and enforce on-site security measures. The FSO will also serve as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO). In this role, you will work closely with our existing Security team based in San Diego.

Duties And Responsibilities

Direct, manage and oversea the Industrial Security Program.
The successful candidate will interface with all levels of scaled personnel and government management personnel to ensure security compliance with 32 CFR 117 (NISPOM), Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254) and Security Classification Guides.
Review and implement requirements issued in DD254 and prepare Subcontractor DD254s.
Interpret and administer existing policies and develop, document, implement, and communicate revisions to existing policies or new policies, processes, and procedures
Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and awareness training for on-and-offsite personnel.
Apply government regulations relevant to the protection of classified information and equipment.
Will be required to conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements.
May assist in assessing the security impact of new business and provide security considerations for proposal and transition planning.
Coordinate with government agencies and customers for badges (CAC, DBIDS and others as needed) and facility access to restricted areas.
Submit ShVR, DISS and various visit requests as required for access to shipyards, ships and facilities.
Responsible for physical and personnel security and associated document control.
Initiate personnel security clearances and periodic reinvestigations using NBIS and eAPP. Review and submit SF86.
Conduct fingerprint scanning using Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWIFT) system.
Enter and complete foreign travel in DISS.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School diploma and 3 or more years’ experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO).
Must be a US Citizen with Active DoD Top Secret clearance
Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate trusting internal and external customer relations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen to and retain instructions.
High Degree of Professionalism and attention to detail.
Must be adaptable and able to juggle competing demands while prioritizing work in a dynamic environment.
Must have knowledge of and experience with eAPP, NBIS, NISS, DISS, SWFT, NISPOM.
Completion of CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Curriculum.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SCI Security requirements, to include operating and maintaining a SCIF
Knowledge of DCID, ICD and DoD Manuals
COMSEC knowledge and experience
Experience with Synchronized Predeployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT)
Ability to obtain and maintain an active SCI.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 Per Year. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors such as business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
