The Audio Visual and Collaboration Technology Specialistis responsible forthe deployment, support, andday-to-dayoperation of conference room and meeting space technology across the organization. This role focuses on Microsoft Teams Rooms and related AV systems to ensure reliable, consistent, and professional meeting experiences. The positionoperatesas ahands-ontechnical role and partners closely with IT, Facilities, and business stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft Teams Rooms and associated AV hardware
Providehands-onsupport for cameras, microphones, speakers, displays, and room controllers
Troubleshoot and resolve conference room and collaboration technology issues
Serve as the primary technical resource for AV and room technology support
Partner with Facilities on room builds, renovations, cabling, power, and mounting
Coordinate with vendors and installers for AV equipment installation and repairs
Maintain AV standards, room configurations, and technical documentation
Ensure a consistent user experience across conference rooms and offices
Support executive and leadership meetings requiring advanced AV setup
Monitor room health and proactively address reliability or performance issues
Assist with inventory tracking and lifecycle replacement planning
Provide basic user training andquick referenceguides for room technology
Ensure AV systems align with IT security, network, and compliance standards
Ability to evaluate, recommend, and adopt new AV and collaboration solutions as they become available to improve future meeting capabilities
Ability to support executive level users calmly and effectively
Ability to document standards and procedures
Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Information Technology, AV Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise AV or collaboration technology
Strong experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms or similar conferencing platforms
Working knowledge of AV equipment including displays, cameras, microphones, and control systems
Basic understanding of networking concepts related to AV systems
CTS certification (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Self-motivated and able to manage workload independently with minimal supervision
Clear and professional communication skills
Valid driver’s license

Working Conditions

Location – This position will work out of our Burnsville, MN office.
Office environment – extensive sitting at desk and computer; some standing, bending at the waist,stoopingand reaching required; ability to lift 5-20 pounds occasionally
Travel – Travel requirements will vary and is requiredfor onsite support, installations, or company meetings at various locations.
Schedule: Varies, but typically M-F, 8am -5pm
Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
