Responsibilities
- Research and develop tooling, processes, machines, equipment, automations, etc., which are fit-for-use to the injection and over molded product.
- Prepare production process documents (PFMAEA, PFD, WI, Process Data, BOM-list, etc.)
- Act as a technical specialist, support capability & cost analysis for tooling and machine during quotation phase
- Early supplier involvement on plastics tools, fixtures, materials and other resources necessary for the successful manufacturing of the product.
- Recommend improvement action on projects with emphasis on cost, process time, productivity, 5S and safety
- are typically communicated through the Engineering Design Release (EDR) process.
- Support manufacturing operation to accomplish deliver, cost and quality goals
- Ensure molding equipment and peripherals readiness to support production
- Guide team to diagnose and repair the equipment on chronic/complicated issues
- Lead line side audit and complies with company policies &procedures
- Lead team to do continue improvement for OEE/FTQ/Cost
- Set up and monitor injection molding process
- Create and maintain molding process related document
- New equipment setup and buyoff
- Machine/line layout change according to the operation requirement
Qualifications
- Diploma or above engineering degree
- 5 Year or more experience in molding process engineering
- Good knowledge and skill of injection molding process
- Good problem solving skill
- Ability to read and write English
- Willingness to work in Wuxi China
