SUMMARY: The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the full cycle recruiting process, from sourcing and screening candidates to facilitating interviews and extending job offers. This role requires a close partnership with hiring managers and department leaders to understand hiring needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future roles, ensure compliance with company policies, and contribute to employer branding efforts. Success in this role requires strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills to attract top talent and support the company's growth.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing & Recruitment
- Source, recruit, screen, interview, and recommend candidates for all levels of the organization, including entry-level, professional, and technical positions.
- Identify and recommend sourcing strategies to attract the best talent pool for the assigned workload.
- Perform a variety of effective sourcing techniques, such as Boolean searches, social media filters, identifying groups to contact, referrals, and more.
- Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
Hiring Process & Coordination
- Execute requisition workload assignments and consistently provide status to the TA Manager on sourcing activities, number of submittals, phone interviews, and any roadblocks.
- Consult with Hiring Managers and TA Manager to ensure an understanding of job competencies and hiring parameters.
- Build relationships with Hiring Managers and key SMEs in the business group to better align with recruiting goals and make suggestions on the candidate pool.
- Manage the candidate and interview experience, coordinate schedules, and travel as needed.
Candidate Experience & Engagement
- Promote an environment of excitement for all applicants and job candidates.
- Advise candidates on corporate benefits, salary, and company culture.
- Assist in creating engaging content for job ads, social media posts, and other recruiting materials.
- Assist with building and maintaining networks and professional relationships with universities, trade schools, the military community, and professional/trade organizations.
- Participate in campus recruiting activities, job fairs, and networking events.
Data Tracking & System Administration
- Track data within the applicant system and make suggestions to improve tracking methods.
- Assist in Application Tracking System (ATS) administration.
- Maintain a solid level of industry knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape.
- Assist in developing and maintaining job descriptions and SOPs.
Experience, Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, HR Certificate a plus
- 4+ years of experience working in a high-volume hiring environment, full-cycle recruiting
- 4+ years of sales or customer service experience
- Construction industry recruiting preferred
- Proven ability to think outside the box and find proactive, creative ways to identify candidates
- Demonstrated proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resource information systems (HRIS)
- Proficiency with MS Office, internet research, and social media platforms
- Knowledge of ethical and professional recruitment standards associated with employment
- Able to manage high levels of activity, change, and multiple demands

The starting salary for this opportunity range is listed. Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility based on company and individual performance, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
