POSITION SUMMARY:
Support P.L. Marketing in the execution of our social media initiatives. Professionally represent PLM and actively facilitate communications on our social media platforms. The individual in this role will work directly with the Corporate Human Resource Team to administer and grow our social media platforms and initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- This hybrid position will be required to work in our Corporate Office based on your team's schedule
- Build a monthly content calendar
- Create relevant and appealing social media content that focuses on driving engagement.
- Utilize and create a variety of content types including graphics, videos, written posts and stories.
- Provide quarterly analytic reporting to determine the effectiveness of the program.
- Regularly conduct external social media audits to better understand current trends.
- Work with the recruiting team to maintain and understanding of current and future recruiting needs.
- Make creative recommendations for future social media opportunities.
- Work with the recruiting team, employee resource groups, and the team building committee on other special projects.
- Maintain three sixty Merchandising industry blog and newsletter
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be available to work a part-time internship starting immediately
- Undergraduate student working towards a 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Concentrating on a Degree in Design, Communications, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Statistics, Marketing, or Human Resources is desirable
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Familiarity with graphic design and content creation through platforms such as Canva and WordPress.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X
- Proficient with Meta Business suite
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills
- Outside of the box thinker who is comfortable with pitching new ideas
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
- Ability to build and maintain positive and productive business relationships
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of an audience from senior level executives, to business users
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and pay strong attention to detail
