Essential Functions

JOB DESCRIPTION

The essential functions of this position while meeting or exceeding annual goals and objectives are as follows:

Create and organize production schedule and customer orders utilizing internal forecasts report to ensure timely processing and shipment dates.
Work closely with vendors to assure the company’s needs are sufficiently met in a timely manner.
Establish processes for receiving EDI customer releases on daily, weekly, or monthly basis adjusting for customer, software type, and frequency of their releases.
Facilitate cross-functional and multi-level discussions impacting operations. Including working with quality on product holds and NCMR issues impacting production.
Coordinate, manage, and track inbound and outbound logistics of production and service parts and returnable shipping systems.
Evaluate recommendations given by material resource planner and take appropriate action to release, change, or cancel material and requests to the appropriate buyer/planner.
Adapt to scheduling conflicts and delays from suppliers or to customers and take necessary action to reconcile and adjust for the delay for all parties involved.
Evaluate customer service requests and expedites on component availability and provide same day feedback.
Demonstrate and live out in an exemplary fashion the IMMI mission and inspire and encourage others to do likewise, as to reflect credit upon the company. Continuously develop, maintain, and share the basic corporate philosophy designed to ensure all team members achieve their highest potential and reach personal satisfaction in the IMMI mission.

Qualifications

Seven to Ten or more years’ experience in logistics, product planning, or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Obtain the appropriate supply chain and project management certifications
Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain metrics, organizational systems, and project management
Must comply with legal and corporate responsibilities

This work is deadline-oriented, requires multitasking, fluctuating work schedule, and flexibility within the workday. Must be able to maintain 24-hour availability, including off-shift access via phone
Frequent use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary
Requires the ability for close vision, distance vision and depth perception
Requires working and interacting with others, both in person and through phone, electronic, and written correspondence, and the ability to listen effectively, communicate clearly, maintain attention to detail, and perform focused work
The following motions can be required during the day: Standing or sitting for extended periods of time, stepping up & down, balancing, bending (hip & knees), reaching, standing, walking, pulling, pushing, lifting (from floor to waist, waist to chest, chest to head), observing, hearing, grasping, pressing, and other repetitive actions
When in the warehouse, this position requires working with dirt/dust and noise. The use of a variety of proper PPE is required to provide a safe working environment
This position requires working with various temperature conditions
