Position Summary:
CCMSI is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claim Representative II to join our dedicated client desk team in Dallas, TX. This role involves managing workers' compensation claims under Texas jurisdiction while providing outstanding claim services to our clients. With opportunities for career advancement, this position is ideal for experienced claims professionals passionate about delivering quality results in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Claims Management: Investigate and adjust workers' compensation claims in accordance with CCMSI guidelines and procedures.
- Invoice Review: Analyze medical, legal, and other invoices to ensure they are reasonable and related to ongoing claims; negotiate disputed bills as necessary.
- Claim Payments: Authorize and process claim payments in compliance with industry standards and within settlement authority.
- Settlements: Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys, adhering to client authorizations.
- Legal Coordination: Assist in the selection and supervision of defense attorneys for claim resolution.
- Subrogation: Assess and monitor subrogation claims for recovery opportunities.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on claims, payments, reserves, and other key metrics.
- Client Service: Deliver high-quality claims service and maintain compliance with service commitments and corporate standards.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in team discussions, contribute to process improvements, and support other duties as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of workers' compensation claims handling experience is required.
- Proven expertise in claims management, client advocacy, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Texas workers' compensation adjusting experience required.
- Licensing:
- Must possess a valid Texas Adjuster’s License.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Discretion, confidentiality, and the ability to deliver client-focused results.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with customer service and claim advocacy is a plus.
