EnSafe is accepting applications for a Corporate Safety Specialist based out of EnSafe’s Memphis, TN office.

EnSafe specializes in custom solutions in Environmental Management and Planning, Civil Design Engineering, Environmental Restoration, Natural & Water Resources, Health & Safety, and Technology with offices operating within the U.S.

What We Are Looking For

As a Corporate Safety Specialist you will work on a wide range of projects in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.

What You Will Be Doing:

Performing regulatory OSHA compliance audits and gap assessments for EnSafe job sites and office locations.
Preparing and/or reviewing written Health and Safety Plans (HASPs) for project job sites.
Conducting internal H&S training for field teams on various H&S topics.
Conducting H&S risk assessments including confined space, lockout-tagout, machine guarding, job safety analysis, etc.
Reviewing safety prequalification submittals from prospective vendors.
Managing ISNetworld, Avetta, etc., and other contractor/vendor software platforms.
Consulting with clients from multiple types of industries including aerospace, chemical processing, manufacturing, pulp and paper, automotive industries, etc.
Developing H&S-related business by conducting site visits, speaking at local and/or national conferences, and being involved in various networking opportunities.
Preparing proposals, managing projects, coordinating staff, and reviewing technical reports.
Supervising and mentoring H&S junior and mid-level staff.
Willing to travel overnight. Expected travel can range from 25 to 40%

Qualifications:

Minimum of B.S. degree in an environmental health, safety, engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum of 10 years’ H&S experience. H&S consulting experience is highly desirable.
BCSP professional safety certification (CSP is preferred)
Working knowledge of OSHA general and construction industry health and safety standards
Strong attention to detail, consulting, and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and organizational skills
