Job Description: Customer Service / Order Processing – eCommerce Division
As a Customer Service Representative, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring a positive experience for online customers by fulfilling orders accurately and promptly, resolving issues efficiently with courteous communication, and managing listings to maximize online visibility and product exposure. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate product data entry, maintain inventory updates, and facilitate efficient order processing in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of company products and services.
- Process customer orders and perform data entry tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from online retail and business customers.
- Address and resolve customer issues with courtesy and professionalism.
- Compile and deliver tracking, invoice, and credit information for B2B clients.
- Manage return requests by creating return material authorizations (RMAs), confirming returns, and issuing credit memos.
- Create and maintain product listings across online marketplaces and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, eBay).
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information using appropriate methods and tools.
- Foster sustainable customer relationships and build trust through open and interactive communication.
- Maintain records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and organize documents.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Communicate with customers via phone when necessary.
- Effectively communicate with all levels of the company via chat, email, and phone.
- Identify and propose potential opportunities for procedure improvements.
- Ensure product images are uploaded and meet quality standards.
- Write engaging and accurate product descriptions, including pricing, specifications, and features.
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications (Required)
- Possess customer service experience.
- Have experience in data entry tasks.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of general automotive components and their functions.
- Exhibit customer service skills, including active listening, empathy, effective communication, problem-solving, proactive correspondence, and politeness.
- Ensure accuracy in data entry by minimizing mistakes, double-checking information, maintaining consistent formatting, and strictly adhering to processes, procedures, and instructions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Proficiency with web resources and tools. Google Chrome will be used.
- Possess working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices.
- Proficient in touch typing, with the ability to type using all fingers without looking at the keyboard.
- Demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
- Exhibit strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently and effectively.
- Display excellent active listening skills.
- Good command of the English language, both oral and written, demonstrating clear and concise speech.
Skills & Qualifications (Preferred)
- Being an automotive performance enthusiast is not required, but it is a plus!
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is not mandatory, but it is a plus!
- Familiarity with inventory management or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is a plus!
Education:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
