Entry-Level Project Administrator

Are you an early career administrative professional ready to take the next step? S&ME is seeking a detail oriented Part time Project Administrator to support our Construction Services team in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role is ideal for someone with foundational administrative or project support experience who is ready to grow their skills in a fast paced, consulting environment while contributing to meaningful client work.

What You Will Do:

As an entry-level Project Administrator, you are dedicated to enhancing our company's success and employee satisfaction. You'll leverage exceptional time management and organizational skills to work independently, take initiative, prioritize tasks, and ensure project completion. Your role will be vital in facilitating project management operations.

Client Onboarding and Documentation Oversight: Optimize the client onboarding process and manage essential paperwork, including certificates of insurance and project documentation. Handle client-required reporting, program management, and fleet coordination.
Project Data Management and Reporting: Systematize project data for audits, oversee document control processes, and manage records for field staff. Assist with client invoicing and laboratory activities through precise data entry.
Preparation of Presentations and Reports: Develop materials for presentations and compile reports efficiently.
Administrative Support and Coordination: Provide support for client invoicing through diligent data entry and administrative coordination.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an organized, motivated administrative professional who has moved beyond the basics and is ready to take on greater responsibility. The ideal candidate has prior experience supporting projects or teams, is comfortable managing details and deadlines, and is eager to continue developing their skills in a consulting and construction services environment.

Qualifications:

Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate degree in business, accounting, or construction management, a plus
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of administrative, project coordination, or related experience
- Experience in professional services, construction, or consulting environment, a plus
Certifications:
- Notary Public Certification, a plus
Key Competencies:
- Work well under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities
- Intermediate to proficient computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets/excel, and accounting software, Microsoft Office experience, a plus
- Basic knowledge of the project structure in a client/consultant business environment

This part-time role offers competitive pay based on experience. Candidates must comply with our Fleet Management, Substance Policy, and Reference Check requirements.
