JOB TITLE: Creative Director

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Manager, Creative Design/ Senior Creative Director

EXEMPTION STATUS: EXEMPT

JOB SUMMARY: The Creative Director plays a pivotal role in the creative process, collaborating with Client Services and Production teams, as well as Executive/Senior Creative Directors, to establish project objectives, content, messaging, and visual direction. They are also involved in choosing and guiding creative resources for projects and maintaining direct client interaction to ensure the creative vision is consistently applied. This role is part of a highly skilled creative team that values passion, curiosity, and excellence in creative work for both in-person and virtual events, as well as media/video production. The Creative Director's involvement spans from the initial brainstorming to the final delivery, ensuring that the creative output aligns with the client's vision and project goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibilities include:

Proposal Process

Collaborate with the entire account team (Client Services, Production, Strategy, Design, Digital and greater Creative Team) to review client background, project requirements and client expectations and determine project scope, project objectives and sales strategy
Participate in any client input sessions and follow up meetings with the client
Play an integral role in brainstorming and the creative development process
Collaborate with Production, Client Services and greater Creative Team to align creative design with budget and logistical constraints
Oversee the production of all or some creative components of the proposal
Provide the proposal team with all pertinent client and project information
Lead all or some presentations of creative concepts to clients

Production Process

Collaborate with the entire account team (Client Services, Production, Strategy, Design, Digital and greater Creative Team) to ensure complete understanding of creative direction, deliverables, project requirements and client expectations
Participate in any client input sessions and follow up meetings with the client
Work directly with Client Services, Production and greater Creative Team to ensure that creative remains on target and consistent throughout production of all deliverables
Serve as content and creative consultant to client and to internal Design/Content Team
For media and video production ensure that all deliverables are checked for quality and creative consistency prior to delivery to client

Post Production Process

Participate in post-project review with Production and Account teams
Participate in post-project review with client

Office Responsibilities

Be available to present to clients and prospects promote InVision's commitment to superior creative and strategic development and delivery
Special projects as assigned by Manager, Creative Design/Senior Creative Director

Experience working in this role for high tech clients a plus
Experience working in the corporate events industry a plus
Knowledge and passion for graphic design and interior design a plus

HOURS: Regular hours (not including travel) are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (40 hours per week). However, due to the nature and scope of the position days and hours may fluctuate.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to perform job duties that may include an average amount of lifting (+ or – 25lbs.), sitting, bending, stooping and standing is required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate travel is associated with this position. Travel for InVision related business is reimbursable at the amount allotted under state & federal guidelines. An expense sheet must be submitted for reimbursement.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of marketing communication creative experience, or related field. Prior management experience also needed.

SALARY: The salary range for this role is from $140,000.00 to $165,000.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, which if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for benefits including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
