Staff Accountant

Location: Hartford
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive annual salary of $70K based on experience

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our clients team and help manage day-to-day financial operations. As a Staff Accountant, you will support month-end close processes, prepare financial statements, and assist with audits.

What You’ll Do as a Staff Accountant:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
Reconcile accounts and perform account analysis to ensure accuracy.
Support the preparation of financial statements and assist with audits.
Provide general accounting support as needed and collaborate with the finance team.

What You Bring:

Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
Familiarity with any ERP system is highly preferred.
Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
