As an Aftermarket Operations Manager, you will lead a distribution/warehousing facility supporting the heavy commercial vehicle Aftermarket. ConMet is committed to its growing Aftermarket as we support our OEM customers, fleets, and end users.
This position is responsible for the management of ConMet Aftermarket operations and related Customer Service personnel. Oversees all aspects of all distribution/warehousing activities, developing procedures and directing supporting activities as needed to meet customer demand and daily shipment targets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Manages Warehouse Supervisor and 2 Team Leaders with indirect support of customer service personnel, making sure the correct number of personnel with the correct training are available as needed to meet customer requirements as efficiently as possible.

Works with each shift to ensure availability of adequate resources while meeting customer order requirements and maintaining company policies with the work force.

Monitors customer order requirements on a daily basis, making adjustments to inventory, planning overtime, and working with scheduling and other production facilities in ConMet to ensure timely shipments.

Responsible to drive and maintain 95% inventory accuracy, cycle count program and semi-annual physical inventory reconciliation program.

Monitors and reports all key performance indicators inclusive but not limited to sales targets, inventory mgmt., planning, freight, packaging and Nonproduction materials (Including recyclables)

Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by coordinating and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures.

Ensures materials in the warehouse are available and staged in advance for shipment.

Runs ERP System reports and communicates with Scheduling Department/Customer Service to determine daily manufacturing requirements.

Plan and execute annual physical inventory working closely with Finance team

Ensures compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and rules. Supports ISO14001 and TS16949 quality standards.

Education & Experience
-
Four year degree and 5 or more years of relevant warehouse management experience or two year degree with ten or more years of relevant warehouse management experience.

Experience in SAP, Microsoft Office systems preferred.

Experience in Inventory Control management.

Experience in Logistics and Transportation preferred.
