Position Overview
Catamount Constructor’s recruiter role plays a key role in supporting our growth by attracting and hiring top talent across various roles and locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from understanding staffing needs to sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates. The recruiter will collaborate closely with hiring managers, Talent Acquisition Manager, and HR partners to ensure a smooth hiring process and candidate experience that aligns with our business objectives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development: build a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings by utilizing various recruitment tools and methods such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand job requirements and develop job postings, interview questions, and selection criteria.
- Candidate Screening: conduct thorough screening of applicants ensuring a good fit for both skill set and cultural alignment.
- Interview Coordination & Facilitation: manage interview schedules, facilitate interviews between candidates and hiring teams, and provide support for both parties throughout the process while driving a timely end-to-end recruiting process.
- Candidate Experience: promote Catamount as an employer of choice by delivering an exceptional candidate experience, from first contact to onboarding. This includes continuous improvement of touchpoints in the recruitment process.
- Data Tracking & Reporting: maintain accurate records of recruitment metrics (e.g., time –to-find, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source of hire) to provide insights and recommend process improvements.
- Special Projects: support enterprise-wide talent acquisition projects (e.g., internship program, onboarding initiatives) as applicable
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred
- 2-5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth or fast-paced environment preferred
- Ability to drive a strategic interviewing experience start to finish with self-sourced candidates
- Strong interviewing skills and ability to assess both technical and cultural fit
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- In-depth understanding of strategic sales process, prospecting, networking, cold calling
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage up to approximately 20 requisitions at once

Compensation
- In addition to offering competitive base pay ($75,000-85,000), Catamount employees are eligible for additional incentives for merit/performance, profit sharing, hiring bonuses, and business development commissions.
