Mail Operations Clerk

Location: Irvine, CASchedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (In-Office Only – No Work from Home)Pay Range: $16.50/hr to $19.50/hr

Position Overview:Are you detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced office environment? Join CCMSI as a Mail Services Clerk in our Irvine, CA office! This critical role ensures the efficient handling of all incoming, inter-office, and outgoing mail, supporting smooth operations and client satisfaction. From processing and distributing mail to managing shipping logistics and maintaining records, you will be a key part of our administrative team. Responsibilities

Mail Processing: Open, sort, scan, and stamp 1-2 boxes of mail per day, ensuring timely completion five days a week.
Reception Duties: Provide professional phone coverage and assist visitors as needed as a backup.
Fax Management: Handle assigned fax tasks daily with accuracy and efficiency.
Administrative Support: Perform additional tasks such as data entry, file management, and assisting with special projects as required.

Performance Metrics:Success in this role is measured by:

Clearing daily mail efficiently and accurately. Completing fax tasks assigned for the day. Demonstrating a positive attitude and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Skills: Strong organizational abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail.
Experience: Associate degree in Business or 4+ years of related administrative experience preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Attributes: Self-motivated, flexible, and capable of working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
Prolonged sitting or standing (up to 7.5 hours per day).
Adequate auditory and visual acuity for office interactions.
