ConMet is seeking two highly driven National Fleet Sales Managers to lead strategic growth with top-tier national fleet and leasing customers. This is a proactive, relationship-based fleet sales role focused on building trusted partnerships, expanding market share, and delivering measurable sales growth.
In this role, you will serve as ConMet’s primary liaison to end-use fleet customers while working closely with OEM truck and trailer partners, dealership fleet sales teams, and internal ConMet teams. Success in this position requires a strong background in heavy-duty fleet sales, a consultative approach to account development, and the ability to turn customer insight into lasting business opportunities.
This home-based role has no direct reports.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for targeted national fleet and leasing customers
- Build strong relationships with key contacts across equipment, purchasing, maintenance/service, and ownership teams
- Grow revenue and earnings through fleet conversions, retention, and share expansion
- Protect and expand baseline sales penetration through fleet pull-through strategies
- Partner with OEM truck and trailer dealership fleet sales and corporate fleet sales teams
- Collaborate with ConMet customer service, engineering, field service, aftermarket, marketing, and plant teams
- Gather and share competitive, customer, and market intelligence to support sales planning and forecasting
- Use CRM tools, including Salesforce, to document fleet activity and track growth opportunities
- Represent ConMet at industry events and maintain frequent customer contact
- Understand the voice of the customer and help ensure quality standards are met
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in heavy-duty commercial vehicle fleet management and/or fleet sales
- Strong technical aptitude and deep understanding of fleet operations and customer buying cycles
- Proven ability to build relationships with fleet decision-makers and influence across organizations
- Self-starter who thrives in a remote, home-based environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and account management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Proficiency with CRM systems, especially Salesforce
- Willingness to travel extensively across North America

Compensation & Benefits
- The full salary range for the position, across all geographies, is $100,000 - $172,000 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
- Targeted annual bonus is based on company performance to objectives during the fiscal plan year which runs from October 1 – September 30.

- Paid sick leave up to 10 days (80 hours) per calendar year

- ESOP - Participation (100% company paid) in the ConMet/Amsted Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP). The Company contributes 10% of considered compensation into this plan each fiscal year.
- 401k - The Company provides a 401(k) Plan with a 4% employer contribution match.
